Air Bearing LVDT - Spindle Alignment Example

Below are pictures of a rough alignment of two opposing spindle faces using the Air Bearing LVDT and Lion Precision AB LVDT Amplifier set at +/-0.020" range. Using the setting with the lowest resolution, it is still possible to align the spindles to within 11 microinches.
